How much money do you need for retirement in Thailand
Anyone considering retiring to Thailand should have savings of US$ 390,000 (11 million baht), according to a study.The study conducted by online lender NetCredit, entitled “The Cost of Comfortable Retirement Around the World”, looked at how much someone needs to be able to enjoy their old age abroad with relative comfort.
Chonburi receives 4,700 doses of the Chinese Covid-19 vaccine
Chonburi Province will receive nearly 5,000 doses of the first batch of Chinese Covid-19 vaccine from Sinovac Biotech, which arrived in Thailand yesterday.In addition to Bangkok and Samut Sakhon, other provinces that receive the vaccine preferential include Chiang Mai, Phuket and Surat Thani.
Strong baht harms rice exports
Rice exports from Thailand this year are expected to fall from 7.5 million tons worth 130 billion baht last year to five million tons worth 115 billion baht.The honorary president of the Thai rice exporters association, Chookiat Ophaswongse, attributed the decline to the strong baht and the low output.
